"Do you allow pets?"
Yes! Glen Ellis Campground understands that pets are an important part of many families. At the same time, pet owners must be aware that many campers choose not have pets. The following rules are in place to insure that all campers enjoy their stay at Glen Ellis Campground. Please be sure that your family and pets understand and adhere to these policies. If you are not comfortable with any of these rules, please make arrangements for your pet to stay home or book a vacation at a local pet kennel.
Pets are allowed at all CAMPSITES free of charge only after Labor Day. Please note, pets are NOT allowed at TENT SITES.
Pets must be kept in camper or leashed at all times. Please - no retractable leashes or leads.
Pets must be kept quiet.
Clean up after your pet - and dispose of properly at all times.
"Where do I get firewood?"
We have firewood available for purchase at our Camp Store and the Ranger Station. Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to state regulations. This is to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer. To preserve the beauty of our wooded camp-resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way.
"What is the speed limit?"
Because the campground is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the camp-resort is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
"What is the cancellation policy?"
Our cancellation and refund policies can be found here: https://www.glenelliscampground.com/cancellation-policy
"Will my reservation guarantee a specific site or cabin assignment?"
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin location by paying our applicable lock in fee. If you opt out of the lock in fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
"What are the quiet hours?"
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM. Please have consideration for camping neighbors always. Remember TV and radio sound travels. Many families prefer a more natural setting. If you must have your TV outside, please place it as discreetly as possible, so those who are not interested in your TV may enjoy their time as well.
"Can I bring my drone?"
No, we do not allow drones at this time.
